LooksArt grew out of 10 years of family tours in Rome. We know that children find it hard simply to listen to history, and that parents would rather not turn a museum into a battle for attention. So we create interactive tours where the whole family does not just listen but searches, plays and walks the route together, as one close-knit team.
Hello! My name is Marina
I am a mother who realised one day that travelling with children often turns into boredom for them and stress for us, the parents. We want to spark an interest in history and culture, and all we hear in return is: “Mum, I’m tired.”
Back in 2016 I created my first offline tour for children in Rome under the WOWITALY brand. For almost ten years our team of guides has been running family tours based on my scripts, and every year we receive the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice award — given to only the top 10% of companies worldwide.
Today we are scaling that experience into a mobile app so that unique family adventures become available all over the world. LooksArt is not about ticking landmarks off a map. It is about emotions, discoveries and moments that stay with you forever.
